Additional Support Services | Present Help by June

In addition to after-hours symptom support, Present Help offers focused services that address the emotional, decisional, and practical challenges that often arise during cancer treatment. These services are designed to complement oncology care and support people between appointments.

Emotional & Spiritual Support

Cancer can bring emotional strain, uncertainty, and a sense of isolation — especially between visits when concerns surface quietly. This service offers a calm, grounded space to talk through what you are carrying emotionally and to restore a sense of steadiness.

  • Emotional processing and supportive listening
  • Coping with fear, uncertainty, or anticipatory anxiety
  • Support during treatment transitions or scan-related stress
  • Optional reflective, mindfulness, or spiritual support if desired

Decision Support & Preparation

Treatment decisions and care choices can feel overwhelming — particularly when information is complex or emotions are running high. Decision support focuses on helping you prepare, clarify priorities, and approach conversations with your care team more confidently.

  • Preparing for oncology appointments or consultations
  • Clarifying questions and understanding options
  • Exploring values, goals, and preferences
  • Support following new diagnoses or changes in treatment plans

Practical Skills & Treatment Support

Practical tasks and treatment-related routines can add stress, particularly when support is limited or instructions feel unclear. This service focuses on building confidence with day-to-day skills that help treatment run more smoothly.

  • Medication organization and scheduling
  • Injection teaching or device familiarity (non-acute)
  • Infusor or pump support and disconnect preparation
  • General treatment-related skills coaching

Scope note: These services are supportive and educational in nature and are designed to complement — not replace — medical care provided by your oncology team. They are not emergency services.
