SPECIALIZED SUPPORTIVE ONCOLOGY NURSING CARE

Support That Goes Beyond the Cancer Clinic

Modern cancer care often begins in the cancer clinic or hospital, but much of the journey takes place at home — between appointments, after hours, and during the moments when patients and families are trying to understand symptoms, medications, and what their next step should be.

Cancer care is becoming more virtual at the same time that cancer treatments are becoming more specialized.

Virtual and hybrid models of care offer greater convenience, but they also place more responsibility on patients and families to recognize symptoms, monitor treatment-related side effects, and report concerns early. At the same time, newer treatments such as immunotherapy, targeted therapies, antibody-drug conjugates, cellular therapies, and precision medicine approaches can create new side effects, monitoring needs, and education gaps.

Present Help was created by an experienced oncology nurse with more than 20 years of cancer care experience to help bridge this important gap — providing continuity, education, symptom support, and navigation between clinic visits. We work alongside your oncology team, not in place of it.
