Join others navigating the cancer journey in safe, supportive group sessions led by a Registered Nurse. These small-group offerings are designed to inform, encourage, and uplift.
Cancer Teaching Session for Newly Diagnosed Patients
60-minute virtual group session – No cost
- What to Expect: A small-group session designed to help newly diagnosed clients better understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and the cancer care system
- Overview of common terms, timelines, and treatment roles
- Intro to symptom monitoring and self-advocacy tools
- Opportunities for Q&A in a supportive environment
- Location & Availability: Offered monthly via secure video platform
- Advance registration required; maximum 8 participants per session
Spiritual Support & Reflection Group
60-minute virtual group session – No cost
- What to Expect: A gentle, inclusive space for reflection, encouragement, and prayer (optional)
- Guided themes related to hope, fear, grief, and meaning-making
- Space to share (or just listen) without pressure or judgment
- Rooted in compassion, not denomination
- Location & Availability: Virtual, hosted 1–2 times per month
- Open to clients and caregivers of any (or no) faith background
- Group size is limited to support connection and comfort
All sessions are facilitated by a Registered Nurse (BCCNM) with experience in oncology, coaching, and whole-person care. Group offerings are designed to complement—rather than replace—your cancer care team and are not a substitute for professional therapy, emergency care, or religious counselling.
