Our Mission & Vision | Present Help by June

“It is impossible to treat a person as though he were alone in the world. We must include those around him. There is a whole community of people who suffer with him, and who must be helped if he is to be helped.”
— Dr. Paul Tournier

Our Mission

To make symptom help simple, human, and accessible. We provide clear, evidence-informed education and calm guidance after hours and between visits, helping individuals and families recognize red flags, prepare good questions, and feel supported — without replacing your oncology team or emergency services. Our support keeps the whole person in view — body, mind, and spirit — in line with Medicine of the Person.

Our Vision

A trusted, scalable model of after-hours cancer support that complements community oncology care across regions. We aim to standardize high-quality, whole-person coaching — concise, practical, and ethically delivered — with the potential to reach clients across Canada and internationally* via secure virtual services, while partnering respectfully with local care systems.

*Availability may vary based on local laws and platform access. Services are non-clinical coaching and do not include diagnosis, triage, or treatment.

Safety: Severe or rapidly worsening symptoms (e.g., trouble breathing, chest pain, uncontrolled bleeding, fever ≥38.0 °C/100.4 °F, confusion, severe dehydration) require emergency care — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Continuity of care: You’ll receive a brief summary to keep or share with your oncology team. With your consent, we can send a concise update to your provider as an optional service.
