Spiritual Care: Faith & Healing

When life with cancer feels uncertain, many people find themselves asking deeper questions about meaning, hope, and how to stay grounded through difficult moments. Sometimes what helps most is simply having a calm space to talk and reflect.

These sessions offer a compassionate space to share what is on your heart. They are rooted in a whole-person perspective inspired by the late Dr. Paul Tournier’s Medicine of the Person — recognizing that emotional, spiritual, and relational aspects of life are deeply connected to our well-being.

Drawing on over twenty years of oncology nursing and many years of personal spiritual practice, I offer these conversations from a place of presence and attentive listening. Practices such as meditation, prayer, reflection, and connection with nature can help create space for peace and resilience during times of uncertainty.

These sessions are not counselling or therapy. They are simply an opportunity to pause, reflect, and be accompanied with care.

“In order to really understand, we need to listen, not reply… asking only a few questions, as carefully as possible in order to help him better explain his experience.”

— Paul Tournier, Medicine of the Person (1965)
