Services & Scope
What’s the difference between your services?
- Symptom Coaching — practical, supportive guidance for day-to-day treatment side effects. Not clinical assessment or emergency care.
- Proactive Check-Ins — short follow-ups to stay ahead of symptoms, especially after treatment or medication changes.
- Decision & Appointment Coaching — clarity and structure to understand options; prep before appointments or debrief after.
- Emotional & Spiritual Support — a calm, grounded space to process emotions, values, or faith. Optional prayer/reflection by request.
- Self-Care & Skills Coaching — hands-on guidance for practical home care tasks (self-injection, disconnecting infusors, preparing for new treatments).
- After-Hours / Urgent Coaching — non-clinical guidance for new or time-sensitive concerns when your care team is unavailable. Provided by phone or text during posted urgent hours. Calls returned within 2-4 hours. Not a replacement for 811, clinic triage lines, or emergency care.
When should I use After-Hours / Urgent Coaching?
Use After-Hours / Urgent Coaching for new symptoms or concerns that feel time-sensitive but do not require emergency care. This service is for brief, supportive guidance only and does not include clinical triage or assessment.
If symptoms are severe, rapidly worsening, or concerning (e.g., trouble breathing, chest pain, heavy bleeding, high fever with chills), call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or contact HealthLink BC (811).
Is After-Hours / Urgent Coaching unlimited?
Urgent support is offered on a fair-use basis, typically 1–2 brief contacts per week as needed. It is not intended for daily messaging or continuous text conversations.
Is this medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment?
No. All coaching is educational and supportive. We do not diagnose, prescribe, assess, or provide nursing care. We help you understand your symptoms, prepare for decisions, and communicate with your care team.
