Self-Care & Skills Coaching

Practical support for everyday cancer-care tasks—designed for patients and caregivers. Sessions focus on skills, safety, and confidence while staying aligned with your oncology team’s plan.

With over twenty years of oncology nursing and patient-education experience, your coach has guided hundreds of individuals in learning self-care skills—from medication, PICC/Port site, and infusor ("baby bottle") care and management  to treatment readiness—both in clinic and virtually. This experience ensures your session is safe, empowering, and tailored to your goals.

How It Works

  1. Book your session. Choose a 15-, 30-, or 45-minute appointment—available virtually (video or phone) or in-person by request.
  2. Identify your learning goals. Before your session, share what you’d like to practice or understand—such as self-injection, infusor disconnect, or organizing medications.
  3. Learn and practice together. Your coach demonstrates each step and guides you through it safely, ensuring you feel confident and supported.
  4. Receive personalized notes. Optional follow-up tips and checklists to help you continue practicing independently.

For urgent or life-threatening symptoms, please call 911 or your local emergency number.
